Das Ich - Feb 4th 2003 - Jack Rabbits

A German Industial band comes to Jacksonville? and they drove from their last concert which was in California, talk about culture show. Good same venue show, decent turn out, as usual the opening bands make me wish I would have showed up late. Das Ich is a Synth based band and all the energy comes from their high energy extremely active front man. They got the crowd into even though the music didn't have much substance. All and All better than other things in Jacksonville.

ICP - March 26nd 2003 - Marque Theatre

Very Entertaining Show! Gallons and Gallons of Fago were spread as well as many bottles thrown. The layout was like a game show with a wheel in the middle and 2 spin windows that showed album covers from the songs. Great selection of songs played and the crowd was really into it. 21 and up, but many many kids were there, some little hoochie girls with their "fathers" too.

2 Live Crew - March 26nd 2003 - Marque Theatre

The return of this Legendary Rap band rocked! even though Luke wasn't there. 3 hoochies shaking, spanking and licking each their asses to crazy bass music!

Ministry - May 17th 2003 - Plush

This concert was the first one Ministry has Ever played Jacksonville aka Jackoffville FL and it most likely will be the last. Doors opened at 6pm and presuming it was going to be an "Early" show I showed up at 7pm. I went into the Leopard Lounge which connects to Plush and for 1 1/2 hours the enterance into Plush from the the Leopard Lounge was closed. They let us in around 8:30 and I heard that the 2 opening bands didn't show up for some reaon, which was the truth and that setup an amazing concert! The crowd sucked accept for most of the people in the pit and a few people on the side bleacher like area where I was. The band had a Great line up, performed greatly, their visuals on screen were great (for instance during Theives they had a spinning then stoping knief then showed GW Bush jabbering), and there were great accoustics for Jackoffville standards. They started off with Animosity and played most of their best songs and played from most of their cds. About half way thru for Bad Blood Al Jourgenson's wife came out in black tight pants and a tight silver top danced and sang to the song; entertaining. The promoter wanted to pull the plug an hour through so the jack offs could make money off the moron bubbas and posers that go to Plush to drink Saturday nights (like they didn't make money off of the packed crowd before and during the concert). Al said fuck you we are going to play as long as we want, they had two encores which made the show very much worth it. At one point they had 4 guitarists with a total of nine musicians.

Inner Circle - May 22nd 2003 - Ocean Club

After missing them play 2 or more times I wasn't going to miss them this time. The crowd was into it from the start. The lead singer responded to the crowd and played them well. They did a cover of Stir it Up and In the end they played their 2 big songs last of which was Cops which had some cool syren and gun samples in it.

Sponge - June 19th 2003 - Jack Rabbits

I came in late because I didn't want to see the lame opening acts, but I wasn't late enough. The opening acts were Not Even Trying & Creed Sounding Posers. Sponge was good, they said they weren't going to play their big rock enterance, I laughed hard. They played all of their hits and some good songs from their first cd. They played some songs from their new independant release which were good. They ended the show a with one song a an encore.

E Town Concrete - August 27th 2003 - Jack Rabbits

One of my friends is friends with a member so we went and checked them out. I was impressed (I hadn't listened to them before). They had some great agressive music and even though Jack Off Jack Rabbits has horrible Accoustics, their sound guy made it sound pretty good. The other bands that played before and after them sucked ass.

Dope - November 23rd 2003 - Jack Rabbits

Decent performance, pretty high energy but I expected better though. I enjoyed about half of the songs, they didn't play everything sucks, but they were pretty entertaining for Jacksonville standards.

Pigface - November 23rd 2003 - Jack Rabbits

They had a great lineup with Gunter/En Esch formerly of KMFDM, Jared Louche of Chemlab, and JS Clayden of Pitch Shifter. It was a fast high energy show that was pretty well done considering the stage barely holds 4 people properly and it was really stuffed with 10 + people on stage at one time. They played Chemlab's song Codeine, Glue And You it was less electronic and more rock. They played Pitch Shifter's song Genius which was great to see live again. Jared of Chemlab was crazy running around stage, on the drum kit, falling onto the crowd and jumping into the crowd, singing on the floor. En Esch was crazy as usual. Gunter jammed out some good guitar parts.
